4-Axis Palletizer

An automatic palletizing system that stacks cases onto pallets in a defined pattern, engineered for reliable, high-speed dispatch-ready output.

Customer Problem

Manual or semi-automatic shrink wrapping limits throughput, produces inconsistent bundle tightness, and struggles with frequent pack-size changes.

Business Impact

Inconsistent wrapping affects shelf presentation and dispatch reliability, while manual bottlenecks cap overall line speed.

Machine Operation

Products are grouped, wrapped in film, and passed through a shrink tunnel to form a secure bundle before discharge to the next stage.

Product-Handling Method

Grouping and film-tension settings are matched to product shape and fragility for a consistent, secure bundle.

Key Benefits

Stable, consistent pallet loads

Reduced manual lifting

Faster dispatch readiness

Scalable to line throughput

Machine Variants

Automatically palletizing corrugated boxes or sacks is a major challenge — high-speed lines otherwise require more manpower for palletizing filled boxes or sacks at height.

Customisation Options

Pallet patterns, pallet sizes, stacking height and infeed orientation are engineered to your dispatch requirement and your warehouse handling. Cell footprint and pallet entry or exit position are laid out around the space available rather than forcing a standard arrangement.
Slip-sheet handling, pallet dispensing and stretch-wrap interfacing can be included in scope where required. Controls, HMI layout and safety architecture are configured to your plant's conventions.

Safety Features

Fixed guarding encloses the palletizing envelope, with interlocked access at the pallet infeed and discharge so operators cannot enter while the cell is running. Emergency stops are coordinated with upstream conveying so a stop here safely halts the stations feeding it.

03

Changeover Information

Pallet patterns are stored as HMI recipes, so switching between known case sizes and stacking patterns is an operator selection. Physical adjustment is limited to guide and infeed settings; changeover time depends on how far apart your case sizes sit.

FAQs

Can this handle multiple case sizes?

Yes. The 4-Axis Palletizer can be configured to handle different case sizes. The stack pattern, pallet size, and infeed orientation are engineered according to your case dimensions. It also supports recipe-based changeover for new case sizes and pallet patterns, allowing the system to adapt to different product requirements.

What pallet sizes are supported?

The palletizer is customised according to your pallet size and stacking requirements. The pallet size, stack pattern, and infeed orientation are engineered based on your specific case and line requirements.

Final pallet dimensions and specifications are confirmed during the machine design stage.

How is this integrated with our conveyors?

The 4-Axis Palletizer is designed to integrate with the upstream conveying system as part of a connected end-of-line setup. The conveyor interface is engineered according to your existing or new line, ensuring cases are delivered to the palletizer in the required orientation and flow for stacking.

The final conveyor interface and integration requirements are determined based on your line layout, case specifications, and machine speeds.
