Customisation Options- Case size range, tape width and sealing configuration are set from your actual cases and board grade. Where edge taping is required, the ETM-120 is engineered in series with the CSM-170 as one continuous section rather than a separate standalone station. Conveyor heights, infeed orientation and discharge direction are matched to the equipment either side. Controls, HMI layout and safety architecture follow your plant's conventions.

Safety Features

Guarding encloses the flap-folding and tape-head zones, with interlocked access so tape replenishment and blade servicing are carried out with the machine at a safe stop. Emergency stops are coordinated with the upstream packer so a stop at either machine halts the other. Final guarding specification and applicable safety standards.

Changeover Information

Case sizes within the supplied range are handled by guided height and side-guide adjustment, stored as recipes on the HMI. Tape roll replacement is a routine operator task carried out at a safe stop; changeover time depends on the spread between your case sizes.

Yes. The CSM-170 handles top-and-bottom case sealing, while the ETM-120 performs the edge-taping operation. These are separate modules installed in series, allowing the case to move through both operations in one uninterrupted pass. Keeping the modules separate provides greater flexibility in configuring the sealing process to suit different line requirements. Combined footprint and throughput are application-dependent and require confirmation from MAS SYSTECH.
